The Australian kiwi is a species of kiwi (not a fruit, but a bird) that is native to forests, rainforests, and swamps of Australia. It resembles a New Zealand kiwi, but tolerates well with human activities and introduced species, unlike New Zealand kiwis. They can also thrive well in human settlements. Their ancestors were a group of kiwis that were first introduced to Tasmania by early Maverick Hunters of 500,000 years ago and the kiwis gotten used to mammal predators and one time, when Tasmania got connected to mainland Australia, these kiwis had successfully spread into the mainland and eventually evolved into native Australian kiwis.
