Badwon is a 2009 American Romantic Drama film written and directed by Bill Condon starring Alex Russell, Amanda Seyfried, Uma Thurman, Nico Tortorella, Josh Hutcherson, Kirsten Dunst, Angie Stevenson, Jesse Williams and Pierce Brosnan.

The film was critically well received and concerns a family dealing the loss of one of their own, the dead family member's estranged grieving partner who comes to fall in love with her deceased boyfriend's reckless drug addict brother and the also told stories of the rest of the family.

The film received two BAFTA awards: 1. For Alex Russell's performance and 2. For Pierce Brosnan's performance.

The film was released theatrically on April 24, 2009 and on DVD and Blu-ray disc on September 19, 2009.

Plot[]

Intelligent, caring young designer Charlie Benton (Luke Bilyk) dies in a horrible car accident.

He leaves behind a beautiful district attorney girlfriend Stephanie Carmen (Amanda Seyfried), passive aggressive mechanic brother Calvin (Nico Tortorella), graceful charity runner mother Regina (Uma Thurman), proud salesman dad Corben (Pierce Brosnan), publicist sister Chase (Kirsten Dunst) and drug addict directionless, jobless and manic depressive brother Harrison (Alex Russell).

Things become complicated as Stephanie becomes drawn to Harrison after spending a lot of the time with the Benton family after Charlie's death.

She comes to fall in love with him as does Harrison.

Harrison's father Corben however disapproves of their relationship believing Harrison will just ruin her and that he is not worthy of her, Calvin begins to take his anger out upon him, Regina attempts to help Harrison and bring the two together and pay them to run away together and Chase tries to along with Stephanie stop his drug addiction.
