Harry Potter: Harry asks Ginny to the Yule Ball, which leads to a devastating world. Harry/Ginny
"Who am i going to invite to the ball", Harry Potter asked Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger in the common room.
They had been informed that there was to be an Yule Ball during Christmas. Harry wouldn't have gone, if he wasn't a champion in the Triwizard Tournament.
However, Harry didn't want to compete in the tournament either. He and his friends were convinced that someone tricked the Goblet Of Fire so he would perish in one of the tasks.
"I think you should ask Ginny", Hermione said, and Ron's face went purple.
"No, she is my little sister and Harry is my best mate, it would be weird for me", he snapped.
Harry and Hermione stared at him. "Ronald, don't you think it wouldn't be weird for them", Hermione spoke up.
"Fine", Ron said, and he stormed off.
Hermione noticed Harry's face. Ron had fallen out with Harry when he wrongly believed Harry to have tricked the goblet earlier on into the year.
So it looked like there was another fall out.
"Do you think i should", Harry asked Hermione when Ron was out of sight. Hermione sighed, and turned around. "I think you should.
The Next Day, Harry finaly noticed the redheard Ginevra Weasley. She was alone, reading one of her transfiguaration books.
"Ginny", Harry said, and Ginny looked up. "Hello Harry", she smiled. She had gotten over her cursh the moment Harry had saved her from the chamber.
"Listen, do you want to go to the ball with me", Harry said rather fast. Fortunately, Ginny had caught on. "I will", she smiled. Harry blushed.
"Right, see you", he said. "See you".
That Night, Harry and Hermione were in the library.
"I asked her and she said yes", Harry whispered, sparing a glance at Madam Prince.
"I Know", Hermione smiled as Harry looked confused. "You Know somethings with Lavendar and Partival as you're roommates", she told him.
Harry just shrugged his shoulders, and found the potion book he was looking for.
