Children of the Night is Australian doom metal band Winter's Soil's fourth studio album, released on June 20 2002. It follows 2001's Arise My Sons and is followed by 2004's Sinfonía de Sangre. This is the last album to feature William Devish on rhythm guitar, who despite leaving the group maintains a close relationship with it and all its members.

StyleEdit

While Arise My Sons saw a predominately death metal feel, with more intense instrumentation and Kaleb Jovanovich's entirely growled vocals, Children of the Night was a return to the trademark death/doom found on the band's first two albums. The band themselves have said that they were displeased with Arise My Sons, calling it a rushed effort.
