Digimon: Rebooted is an Japanese-American science fiction fantasy action-adventure film based on the Digimon media franchise created by Akiyoshi Hongo. It is the ninth installment of the live action Digimon film series and a sequel to Digimon: Infection. The film is directed by Justin Lin and written and produced by Drew Gars. The film is based on the anime film series Digimon Adventure Tri. and is mostly based on the films Loss and Coexistence. Plot[]

A few days after the process of The Reboot, The DigiDestined begin to forge new connections with their Digimon since they lost their memories in the process of The Reboot. But upon seeing Meicoomon who still retains her memories of Meiko, the DigiDestined journey through the Digital World after her, but a mysterious man with the revived Dark Masters at his command stands in their way. Meanwhile in the real world, Daigo Nishijima receives a notice that his partner, Maika Himekawitz, has disappeared without a trace, but then discovers that there is a hidden goal behind her actions. So he decides to seek assistance of Thomas Norstein, having been in hiding to avoid getting arrested, but he soon gets allied by a man who knows about Digimon and helps him discover something that goes even further than Maika’s intentions.
