The Strange Fight is the thirteenth episode of Batman: Shadow War's season five.
Plot[]
Batman returns to Bane, who has been locked up in a cell, and interrogates him in Barbara's location. Bane refuses to talk and Batman prepares to open up the cell to make him talk, but a gunshot is heard and the bullet lands next to Batman's head. Batman is attacked by Deathstroke and the assassin offers Batman an honorable duel, so the Dark Knight battles him.
After disarming Deathstroke of his weapons and beats him in hand-to-hand combat, Deathstroke rewards Batman for his victory by revealing Barbara's location. After this, Batman goes to the location after Deathstroke escapes, threatening to come again for his kill. Batman arrives at the docks, where he is called by Gordon that Arkham Asylum is secure. Batman then tells Gordon to try to find Deathstroke but be careful.
Batman then watches as Strange's associates is holding Barbara hostage, then Strange himself arrives in a van in a bloody and bruised appearance. Strange looks at his watch, claiming Batman has only little time to save her in time. Batman then uses stealth tactics to take out Strange's bodyguards until Strange and two are left, unaware of them being took down. Batman then quickly takes out both bodyguards so Strange then takes Barbara and holds her hostage, the Caped Crusader claims he has won the contest as he survived the assassins.
Strange though says he was mean't to die in the contest, die as a hero to protect the others and the Bat Family's secret identities. Strange then claims he has set up a device to expose his identity in a few minutes but Batman then uses a Batarang to force Strange off Barbara and she disarms him of the gun. Strange is then downed but claims he has won as only one minute remains on the device, but nothing happens as it is revealed Lucius Fox was notified and had hacked it to be rendered useless.
As the police arrive, Batman leaves with Barbara and Gordon shows disgust at Strange for his actions, ordering in his men to arrest him and his bodyguards to be sent to a federal prison.
