Easter is a 2011 Comedy starring Ben Stiller, Steve Carrell, Natalie Portman, Drew Barrymore Hugh Jackman, Mark Wahlberg, Dakota Fanning and Ben Kingsley.

It is written by David Allday and directed by Kevin Greutert.

It follows in the tangled love tradition of Love Actually and Valentine's Day.

Plot[]

Mort Abraham (Ben Stiller) is an unsuccesful in love lawyor who meets and befriends a loveful preacher (Steve Carrell) who directs him towards a tough yet flirtatious woman Anna Evansen (Drew Barrymore).

As their romance blooms the Preacher meets an atheist debunker Charisma Corner (Natalie Portman) whom he immediatley falls for.

Meanwhile a Motorcyclist who stumbles in on the Preacher's Church to give a confession of ruining a relationship falls for a girl also looking for redemption and escape from an upper class family (Kaley Cuoco).

Young love enters the web as Jake Abraham Mort's son catches glimpse of fellow high school student and family friend Leslie (Dakota Fanning).

An eighteen year old boy Justin Greening (Seth Green) back from a trip from London falls for his 20 year old Curriculum Instructor Cassandra Pettit (Tea' Leoni) the sister of the preacher character.

Their forbidden romance faces exposure and ridicule as more interconnected love stories unfold.

A character by the name Clark Field connected to all the characters of the film as a known acquaintance finds love with Charisma's best friend accountant the hard-working Julia (Tina Fey).

Jake's favourite first cousin the eighteen year-old Jarnie (Steven R. McQueen) falls for the totelling struggling singer Clara Adams Kimberley (Jessica Mauboy).

The Foreign exchange student Will Cres (Aaron Yoo) takes interest in the school's most popular girl (Jamie Chung) who longs for a meaning in life and proper place.

A character frequeting the other's lives by the name of Easter Market Owner Walden takes to his own love as a realtor comes to shut down his quaint little market (Amy Adams).

Mila Kunis' character Eva is longed for by Justin's London Friend Enson (Brenden Fehr).

Mark Wahlberg's character Tim Trin tries to win the hand of beautiful hippie Clara Beggs (Emilie De Ravin) whose hippie name is Applebee and's actual name isn't revealed until the end.

And finally of the compliced love triangles comes Mort's mother and Jake and Jarnie's grandmother Rita Abraham (Meryl Streep) who is sought after by Markus (Robbie Coltrane) a hopeless romantic.

All the course of these love intermingles happens over the course of Easter.
