Evolution of Violence is the fifth album from American thrash metal band Chemical Asphyxiation; releases on April 11th 1991. It is the first album to feature Scott Naider on guitars, who joined after Frank Mitchell's departure in 1990. It follows 1989's Frozen To Death and is followed by 1994's Hold Your Breath...Before You Die.

Album artworkEdit

John LeMar, who began producing the band's album artworks from 1984, created the art for Evolution of Violence, which depicts Charles Darwin dressed in soldier uniform with a cigar in his mouth, holding his gun on a church assembly. According to LeMar the artwork was created before the album, and is called "Science Vs Religion".
