'False Gods' is American metal band Death Flower's fourth single off their debut album Eviscerating Sons of Chaos. The single was released on August 15 2000, after Eviscerating Sons of Chaos was released in June 2000. In Death Flower single chronology it is preceeded by Eviscerate and followed by Blackened.

Music videoEdit

The music video for "False Gods", included on Eviscerating Sons of Chaos, shows the band playing in an abandoned mansion similarly to the music video for Betrayed. It occasionally cuts to lead singer Chris Davenport playing a Zeus-like character in chess, mainly at the intro into every chorus. At the end of the video the band stop playing and the Zeus-character scatters the chess pieces, presumably after loosing to Davenport.
