Betrayed is the first official debut song and first single on Death Flower's debut album Eviscerating Sons of Chaos. Betrayed was released on June 3 to promote the album, and due to its success it remains Death Flower's most known album and is commonly played in their live setlist. In many interviews Chris Davenport has said that the song is about "being betrayed by your girlfriend/boyfriend and feeling that anger and frustration after".
Music video[]
The video for "Betrayed" shows Death Flower playing outside an old style mansion. Inside a man is chasing his girlfriend through the mansion with a kitchen knife. When Chris Davenport screams "die die! You have betrayed me!" the man reaches his girlfriend and kills her, for supposedly cheating.
