ForeverGrandeur Love is a 2006 American Romance film written by Craig Pearce and directed by Baz Luhrmann starring Seann William Scott, Elsa Pataky, Sam Worthington, Reese Witherspoon, Carice van Houten, Cillian Murphy, Joe Manganiello and Alex O'Loughlin.
The film chronicles six bespectled perspectives of six tenants to the fictional Manhattan Hotel Grandeur Love.
The stories interlink and explore the themes of love, obsession, deceit, acceptance and murder.
The film is narrated by the anonymous drug dealer characters who make a brief cameo scene in the film dealing the drug acid to Sam Worthington's character.
Adam Harvin (Seann William Scott) is a man experiencing a mid-life crisis, he has quit his high paying job as a chairman for the rich end corporation Prestine Global and been thrown out of his luxurious Manhattan home by his wife (Kelly Macdonald).
He finds himself running small time temp jobs just to provide himself with food and accommodation with the cheap Manhattan Hotel Grandeur Love.
There he finds meaning in his life and falls in love with beautiful fellow tenant Clarissa Stobart (Elsa Pataky) who is on the run from her wizened old father Sir Allan Stobart (Ian McKellan) who she worked for as a banker and upon discovering his illicit affair with another woman stole his fortune and fled to the hotel Grandeur.
Lester Harvin (Sam Worthington) is the younger brother of Adam who has been bullied his whole life.
And after an incident at the law firm he worked for committed battery upon a bullying co-worker leading to him losing his job and being kicked out of his apartment home.
Lester comes to the Hotel Grandeur after befriending two drug dealers (Joe Manganiello) and (Alex O'Loughlin) who deal him some acid and leave him on a trippy journey to the hotel where he meets up with his older brother Adam.
The two rekindle their relationship as brother and brother which got destroyed when back at NY State High Lester has a severe bullying incident with Varsity Jocks and Cheerleaders after attempting to ask one out one of whom he was desperatley obsesed with.
Adam who was a Varsity Jock back in High School saw the bullying occur and failed to stop it which lead his parents into having a large argument with him and moving out on them all.
At the Hotel a beautiful tennant named Helena Gorman (Reese Witherspoon) catches Lester's eye who serves as a professional Ballet Dancer along with her bestfriend and also Grandeur Tenant Alexia Morshower (Carice van Houten) who is an in the closet lesbian attempting to come out and admit her true love for bestfriend Helena.
Then there is Prestine Global businessman tennant Able Gordons (Cillian Murphy) who has been dispatched as a spy to keep tabs on Adam in hope of exposing him a thief and cheat so he gets arrested.
He is contracted to Prestine Global's CEO chairman Lance Truttle (Bruce McGill).
Able finds himself emersed in the damaged life of Adam Harvin and begins a passionate affair with Adam's wife.
In the end Lester's obsession with Helena leads to him discovering Alexia Morshower to be a closet lesbian in love with her and threatens her to stay away, he accidentally kills Able Gordons and murders Helena who attempts to call the police on him and refuses his advances.
As he tries to kill Clarissa however Adam strikes him down and Lester begins to see flashes back to the NY High Incident and now instead of a random Varsity Jock punching at him and Adam watching in the crowd it's Adam striking him down.
Adam holds his bleeding to death brother in his arms and Clarissa looks over at the two of them as the police and paramedics come to the scene.
After Adam delivers his statements to the police and sees Clarissa walk off he confronts his parents, Chairman Truttle and his wife who ushers him over to the courtyard fountain where Clarissa is standing.
Adam comes to her and they dance before he locks in her a kiss which starts the ending credits.
