Knuckles the Echidna has been confirmed to appear as a newcomer in Super Smash Bros. Smash Wars. Knuckles is a mobile power-house with high knockback moves and good K.O. power. The red echidna is not too fast, nor too slow, and has a variety of powerful combos at his disposal. Knuckles is also know for his unpredictable special moves, as many of them have erratic hitboxes and decent range to boot. Snake's Codec Conversation[]Colonel: Watch your back, Snake. You're dealing with Knuckles the Echidna. Snake: Another one of Sonic's friends, huh? Just another punk in the way. Colonel: Just because you thought Sonic wasn't tough doesn't mean Knuckles isn't either. Years of isolation and training with the Master Emerald has made the tough one tougher. Snake: He sure doesn't seem that smart, though. Colonel: That seems to be his weakness. When he slips up, hit him hard and fast. Snake: Got it. Palette Swaps[]Knuckles' swaps change the color of the strip on his shoes and the ankle band, plus the spikes on his gloves.
