The MIR Series-1 Supercomputer System is the Russian equivalent of the Skynet MK 1, although it did not reach sentience on its own. It currently is the Command Core Database for CyberDyne Industries.
System History Edit
On Judgment Day in 1997 MIR retaliated against the West on a massive scale. Skynet later infiltrated MIR and gave it self-awareness. MIR joined Skynet in its war against Humanity. MIR, nevertheless, was not grateful for Skynet's assistance and did not share Skynet's paranoia of the human species so it plagued its sister computer with delays. It planned to destroy Skynet's CPU with a coordinated nuclear strike from an operational Typhoon Class submarine (the Korolev) hidden in a Resistance base. It deployed a squadron of TS-300 Series Terminators (with Series 800 support) to capture the ship and the nuclear launch codes that Skynet had kept hidden from it. It's mission was prevented.
