Michael Francis de Liveri (b. August 30th, 1978, San Francisco, California, United States of America -) is an Italian-American director and occasional actor; the eldest son of director Francesco de Liveri and his wife Christina. Throughout the 1990s he had minor roles in several of his father's films, namely Bed of Nails, Dance with the Devil and Suckers IV: Never Say Die, before making his directorial debut in 2003 with Infest, starring Nicholas Narkevi. The film gathered a cult following and influenced de Liveri to direct a sequel in 2005 Infest 2. He directed the 2010 thriller film Harvester, which notably was much better received than his other work.

Michael Francis de Liveri was born on the 30th of August 1978 in San Francisco, California, the eldest son of director Francesco de Liveri and his wife Christina. He was raised in San Francisco and attended his father's high school, Lowell High School from 1983-1994, dropping out to study film-making under his father. He married Amelia Landis in 2001, and they have two children together; Joseph (b. 2003) and Gabriella (b. 2007). He and his family live in San Francisco.
