Buffy The Vampire Slayer (2012) is a 2012 Supernatural Action Horror Drama film reboot of the original 1997-2003 television series and original 1993 motion picture.
It is produced by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg, written by David S. Goyer and directed by Robert Zemeckis.
The film includes nearly all reboot characters from Joss Whedon's phenomenal Buffy the Vampire Slayer Television Series.
The reboot stars Dianna Agron as the titular vampire killer Buffy Summers, Leonardo DiCaprio as the evil bleach blonde vampire Spike, Benjamin Ayres as the soul conscious vampire titled Angel, High School Musical-Sucker Punch well known Vanessa Hudgens as the popular somewhat airheaded Cordelia Chase, Dennis Quaid as the weary Watcher Guardian/Passionate Librarian Rupert Giles, Ed Westwick as the dorky yearning bestfriend Alexander "Xander" Harris, Elena Satine as the Witch Computer Genius Bestfriend Willow "Will" Rosenberg, Blake Lively in the role of the Cordette Second Lieutennant/ Cordelia Bestfriend Harmony Kendall, Christine Baranski as Buffy's doting mother Joyce whom is hiding a severe medical condition and Liam Neeson as the primary antagonist evil vampire Lothos whom is commanding a bad legion of bloodsuckers opposing another bad legion of bloodsuckers locked in a deadly battlefront for the souls of a small Californian Town.
The film was shot in the long time production period between 2009-2010-2011 finishing in the spring of 2011.
It was shot in primarily in Acton, California, Aspect Areas of Bellflower Los Angeles, Condon Oregon and Pasadena California.
The film features a prominent appearence from High School Musical Hollywood Teen Star Zac Efron whom portrays an antagonist Werewolf Character in the film.
Goyer in writing for the film wished to have a prominent male teen star taking up the role as a werewolf villain character and upon broadcasting the idea to the cast and crew was immediatley approached by already Cordelia Chase cast actress Vanessa Hudgens whom suggested Zac as told of his great interest in the television series and suggested as she had prominently worked with him on the High School Musical Series playing the two leads.
Plot[]
Young Blonde women from a Small Sunny Californian Town are abducted and killed by a legion of surfaced vampires whom's leader has foreseen their destruction at the hands of a new called warrior known as the Slayer.
They are in a locked opposition against their still underground entrapped bretherein whom they abandoned in service of themselves, their bretheren being known as the Order of Aurrelius head by a bald frightening primordial vampire named simply as the Master.
The Day of the Harvest is to come which is the day where come nightfall they can completely permantley dark Earth and create nothing but an endless destructive rain upon the small Californian Town.
In The week following up to the big bringdown comes new residents Joyce and Buffy Summers an estranged mother and daughter duo whom have come from Hemery Los Angeles following a terrible fire incident.
She is the buzz of the local school Sunnydale High for her radiant beauty which rivals that of their current teen queen Cordelia Chase whom attempts to adopt her into her popularity group the Cordettes and ultimatley destroy her.
The arrival sparks the attention of not only the human residents but also the undead ones as the Kindines come for her.
An original member come vampire with a conscious falls for her and tries to protect her from their advances.
She also strikes the fancy of a Kindine Harley donning vampire whom also goes against the beset rules in favour of his fancy with her.
The Assembling of a good guy group titled the Scoobies seems to be the only salvation for the small Californian Town as the dreaded permanent night of the Harvest comes.
