The Ryūjin, or mostly referred by some Sekirei as Dragons are said to be the sub-race of the Sekirei who, like their cousins have special abilities of their own and much more advanced than humans and equal to Sekirei. Physiology[]
The Ryūjin are very much like humans and Sekirei only a few differences as the males are described as handsome and strong, and the females are large buxomed and well endured which makes the both genders very attractive to the opposite sexes. They are also capable of reproducing with humans and Sekirei species. The males tend to be more protective of their mates and family as they act as the alpha males but the females can also behave similar to their counterparts when having children with the father.
Ryūjin are equally powerful as Sekirei by speed, strenght, stamina and possibly more intelligent. However, unlike their cousins, Ryūjin can be winged through exchange of saliva or preferably a kiss but cannot be winged by force as they have more control over their bodies and if they accept each other's feelings, but also can easily wing a sekirei and become their ashikabi. Once they are 'winged', each of them sprout a long tail from their lower backs, decorated into scales, fur and even feathers that give an impression of a dragon's tail. Although they can also sprout wings which are more bat-like than their sekirei cousins have after being winged.
Unlike humans, Ryūjin behave more differently than they do such as how they do not mercilessly kill another being and consider most of their cultures very strange.
History[]
While the Sekirei were discovered on the uncharted island by the founders of the MBI, their would-be rivals discovered a ship within the Antartic and inadvertantly activated a signal from the ship to whom ever created it. Years after discovered about a coming tournament by their rivals, The Fenrir Corporation took part of it after further discoveries and plans to control old Tokyo-now named Shinto Teito.
